Set up capture
- Open NotiVault and choose your language.
- Open Settings → Set up capture → Open template and add the shortcut.
- Choose at least one app in the notification trigger. The template has no preselected apps.
- Leave the editor, receive a new notification and check the inbox. Review any permissions requested by Shortcuts.
Keep only one active capture automation. After restarting your device, unlock it once before capture can resume.
If an entry is missing
Check that the source app is selected in the trigger and a new notification arrived. Check Shortcuts for errors. The order must be trigger → Text → Save in NotiVault. Optional fields use the original notification’s App, Title and Subtitle; leave Sender empty in the shared template.
Earlier Notification Center history, photos and audio files cannot be imported. Processing may be delayed; no fixed delivery time is guaranteed.
Icons and language
NotiVault shows neutral symbols alongside each app’s name: a speech bubble for messages, an envelope for email, a package for orders and initials for other apps. Symbols are created locally; there is no icon search or transmission of app names. Change German/English language in Settings; stored notification text is not translated.
